An important element to create a fashion collection is mainly inspiration. The most popular international designers consider that inspiration is the key of collections’ success. Indians designers are totally agree with this statement, being inspired by different historical and cultural destinations. |
Babita MALKANI has created her last collection BOH-AUM for the LFW attracted by the beautiful monasteries and the ancient architecture of the Kingdom of Bhutan.
Lina Tipnis’ last collection is also based in an ancient city in Turkey. She said that Istanbul is more that a destination is like a dream. Walking down Istanbul’s streets Lina was in love with the colours of walls and adorns of the main palaces and mosques.
Continuing to beautiful colours and architectures, Rhajasthan was the muse to Anita Dongre’s spring/summer last collection, and, she said that this place will be always present through her collections on a global platform.
Definitely, every destination has its only charm, its only significant characteristic to many people, as designers mention before. That’s why Indian fashion collections are full of colours and new trends.
